Sara D. Sauer, C.P.A
Sara graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is licensed as Certified Public Accountant by the state of Minnesota. Sara has 16 years experience in public accounting. Two years of experience were as a bookkeeper in the small family business. Hands on training was gained by managing the office, taking care of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger duties, and preparing payroll returns. The next six years of experience were gained by employment in a 20+ person public accounting firm, working for many small businesses preparing income tax returns, compiled, reviewed and audited financial statements, and other services needed by small businesses and individuals (Peachtree and Quickbooks assistance, sales and payroll tax returns, projections, etc.). When she decided to work closer to home due to the arrival of her first child, she changed employment, working for a single owner public accounting firm, always with the intent to own her own business. That goal has become a reality - she is now working for her clients doing what she loves - saving them taxes and headaches...
Sara is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is also a Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
